Social Support Services for Educational Success Program
The Social Support Services for Educational Success (SSSES) program serves at-risk adolescents ages 12-17 to assist them with remaining in school or supporting youth with returning to school. The program is available at the following schools:
- Beaumont Middle School
- Hosford Middle School
- Gregory Heights Middle School
- Joseph L. Meek High School
- Marshall High School
- Sellwood Middle School

Primary Services
Case Management to assess strengths and challenges, develop a plan of action, and connect students and their families to community resources including:
- Emergency housing
- Energy assistance
- Legal assistance
- Mental health treatment and counseling
- Public assistance and benefits
- Health services
Advocacy aimed at helping students achieve educational success including:
- Enrollment in public schools and assisting with school schedule
- High school credit retrieval
- Assisting students with navigating the educational system
- Bridging communication between schools and families
- Information on GED or alternative education programs
Groups that provide social skill building and support school retention efforts including:
- Gender-specific boys and girls empowerment groups
- Middle to high school transition groups
- Multi-cultural and diversity development groups
- Groups supporting children of incarcerated parents
