Early Childhood Family Services
Impact Northwest’s Early Childhood Family Services help children ages 0-5 grow up to lead happy, healthy and productive lives through two distinct, yet similar programs: Parent Child Development Services and Healthy Start. Activities in both programs promote the consistent nurturing, healthy development and school readiness of at-risk children as well as build sustaining, supportive connections between underserved families and the communities in which they live.
Our Parent Child Development Services (PCDS) program is founded on the fundamental principle that parents are their children’s first and most influential teachers. The program works with parents of children ages 0-5 to help them develop the skills they need to support their children’s learning and development.
Healthy Start promotes positive parent-child relationships and the healthy growth and development of children of first-birth families. This program serves families with children ages 0-3.
